Community Infrastructure Development Program 2025
The Department of Rural Development is pleased to announce the launch of the Community Infrastructure Development Program 2025, aimed at improving basic infrastructure in rural communities across the Central Province.
Program Focus Areas
- Rural road improvements and repairs
- Construction of community centers
- Renovation of rural libraries
- Development of children's playgrounds
- Installation of street lighting
- Construction of public toilets
- Establishment of waste management facilities
- Development of community water supply systems
Funding Details
Budget Allocation: Rs. 50 million for the Central Province
Maximum Grant per Project: Rs. 2 million
Community Contribution: 10% (can be in-kind or cash)
Project Duration: Maximum 6 months
Eligibility Criteria
- Registered rural development societies
- Clear identification of community need
- Land ownership or long-term lease secured
- Community support demonstrated
- Sustainable maintenance plan in place
Application Process
- Conduct community meeting to identify project
- Prepare detailed project proposal
- Obtain estimates from registered contractors
- Submit application through Divisional Secretariat
- Technical evaluation by department engineers
- Approval by Provincial Review Committee

Application Period: January 15 - March 31, 2025
Project Selection: April 30, 2025
Project Implementation: May - December 2025
