Under the theme "Controlling the Spread of Dengue – Protecting the Village," and given that dengue is a deadly disease causing fatalities as it spreads rapidly during this period—with indications that the rate of transmission is rising—it is a crucial responsibility for the government, health authorities, and the public to work together and continuously implement dengue control programs.
Accordingly, a program was implemented by the staff of the Department of Rural Development, under the guidance of the Department's Provincial Director, based on the theme "Let us Curb Dengue – Let us Protect the Village."
